Staff Database System

Once staff are employed and added to the GMS, the system features several staff-related functions to operating a security business:

  • Manage vetting records to BS7858:2019 including sending email templates, tracking progress & printing screening certificates.
  • Assign staff to shifts & monitor attendance; quickly copy shift patterns for easy rota building.

Lone Worker Safety

Automate lone worker safety checks as part of a BS8484 compliant staff safety system - providing the guard is patrolling as expected then there's no need to check in.

Shift Coverage Monitoring

Each time a team member signs on, their line manager is sent confirmation of their shift starting and whether they've signed on to an authorised shift or an ad-hoc shift has been created. If a staff member fails to book on to a shift, an escalation is sent to their line manager to raise the alarm with a further alert being triggered if the guard hasn't signed on after 30 minutes.

For new staff and those under scrutiny, send supervisor alerts when the staff member starts and finishes their patrol, allowing the supervisor to log in and virtually monitor the guard's patrol.

Tag Based Patrol Tour System

Once booked on to a shift, guard movements can be tracked using strategically placed tags and the Patrol Logger companion app; with GMS being a fully integrated system, the guard tour system integrates in to the lone-worker safety, preventing duplication of tasks by the frontline guards.

Short memos can be added to tags so that when they're scanned by guards they pass on additional information, either each time they're scanned or as a one-off.

Payroll Reporting

Generate payroll reports & client billing reports for man-guarding tasks including bank holiday calculations.
