Our History
How We Started
In about 2011, a small security company in the South Wales Valleys started to operate, and like many companies within the industry at the time, the majority of administration was paper based with our directors dutifully visiting all sites on a weekly basis to collect the patrol notes and timesheets in order to make sure staff were paid on time.
It's worth mentioning at this point that prior to getting in to the security industry, one of our directors started life in the IT and software development industries and came to the security industry with a strong background in database development and management and had already developed a database system for event control logging, so after many discussions internally it was decided to take the husks of the event control system and further develop it in to a workforce management system that can effectively run the key features needed for a guarding company and the rest, is history!
Fast forward to 2025 and the feature packed version of GMS Workforce Management that exists today is barely recognisable against the dated looking grey screens of the original system.
